Regenerative sports massages and deeply relaxing wellness treatments. For body, mind and genuine recovery.
How Your Session Works
Flow of a Massage Session
Each session starts with a brief assessment: Where is the tension? How was your training this week? Do you have an upcoming performance? Then I work specifically on your problem areas – with a combination of deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and fascia work. At the end, you'll receive individual mobility exercises for home, so you can work on your flexibility independently between sessions.
The 90-minute session is ideal for a holistic treatment of shoulders, hips and legs – perfect during intensive training periods or before and after a performance.

Treatment & Results

Sports massage in Berlin for athletes, artists and performers
The sports massage John Förster (BerlinJohn) offers in Berlin is therapeutic rather than wellness: it is about performance and freedom from pain. He works with deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy and myofascial release. Every session opens with a short assessment — where the tension sits, how the training week went, whether a performance is coming up — and closes with mobility exercises to take home. The treatment travels to the client: he brings a mobile massage table, towels and oils to the studio, the rehearsal or your flat. He treats shoulder and neck tension and shortened hip flexors from handstand, overhead and splits work strikingly often, along with overloaded wrists. That is no coincidence: he has been a sports acrobat for over 25 years, has performed since 2007, is a trained sports masseur and knows these load patterns from his own body. For ongoing work he suggests a rhythm of one to two weeks.
