What a stunt show actor in Berlin does
As a stunt show actor, John Förster (BerlinJohn) stages action in Berlin for film, TV, advertising and live events. The range runs from stage combat through acrobatics and wire work to custom action choreography — from a single stunt to a whole show's dramaturgy. The foundation is competitive sport: former member of the German national sports acrobatics team, three world records (one Guinness-certified, two set live on ZDF Fernsehgarten in 2021 and 2025 as the duo Jim & John), professional stage work since 2007 and stunt performer on Babylon Berlin at Studio Babelsberg. Every stunt is planned, choreographed and rehearsed before anyone sees it; safety comes before effect. For events he adds costume characters — classic stage costumes, superheroes or purpose-built action figures, matched to occasion and brand. He works in Berlin, across Germany and internationally, travelling to the filming location for productions. In his own words: “You are not just booking a stuntman.
